appreciate the opportunity to be of assistance to you.
Very similarly the GX2100S NMEA 0183 wires would need to be soldered to
a DB9 serial connector. Â Serial connector could be connected directly
into the laptop if available or you might use a USB to serial adapter.
The following wires from the GX2100S would need to be connected to the
serial port as listed below:
GX2100S brown (AIS output) to DB9 pin 2
GX2100S green (data common) to DB9 pin 5
Your Mac/software would need to be able to read NMEA 0183 sentence VDM
at 38400 baud. Â To learn if the software is capable of this please
reference your software manual or manufacturer.
