Title: File Format

I have track, route, and waypoint information from a friend that he gave me in GPX format. It doesn't appear that MacEnc or GPSNavX will read this file type. If I use a program like GPSBable, what format should I choose for the output to get a compatible file?
Sailing a 27' CSK Catamaran
