Title: New Purchase Garmin GPSMAP 60CSX
#1
Hey Guys and Gals,

I have just purchase 60csx to work with my g4 powerbook OS X ver 10.4.8 with the included usb cable to absoultly no success. I can enable direct access to the SD memory card on the device, but zero luck with the connection to the actual GPS. Cry

Both GPSNavX and MacENC use the industry standard for marine instrumentation, the NMEA protocol. The Garmin only supports transfer of waypoints, routes and tracks over the USB cable.

In order to use your Garmin GPS with our software you will need two cables..

Once you have the cables, put the Garmin into NMEA mode via its Setup / Interface selection.
