Title: Aerial photos
#1
France offers free aerial photos of much of its coast and harbors which some navigation software will integrate (e.g., PC-based ScanNav: http://www.scannav.com/)
"Aerial photographs of the French coasts are available for free download at http://siglittoral.test.application.equipement.gouv.fr/ (French "Equipement"'s web site). These photographs have a resolution of 50 centimetres per pixel. They can be incorporated in ScanNav as maps providing a small import process described further in this document.

Warning: Allthough the precision of positioning is excellent, they are only an additional aid, and are not meant to replace nautical charts."

Are such libraries available for US (or other) waters and if so, is there any plan to make it possible to display them in MacENC/GPSNavX?

Can't you use RasterChart2BSB http://pierre.elissalde.online.fr/SiteJu...t2BSB.html to make BSB charts of these aerial photos?
