Navionics just added course up rotation although they did it by rotating the fixed north-up image. This means the text rotates too and can be upside down. It makes for some confusing depth soundings.
Navimatics Charts & Tides is the only app that rotates the charts while keeping the text upright. When your boat turns, their charts turns but all of the text gets redrawn instantly so the soundings, overlay names, etc, all stay upright. The Navimatics product is also incredibly fast - the fastest for zooming and panning of any other marine navigation product. This means the rotation is really nice and keeps up with your boat even on the large display area of the iPad. I've used it for the last 500 nm on my boat going offshore and along the ICW (just entering the Chesapeake today). To see some real screen shots from my iPad, check out:

To rotate the chart manually on the Navimatics product, you use the pinch gesture and then twist your fingers. The charts rotates smoothly as you twist. It's very cool.
TIde and current display is also integrated in the Navimatics product and displays in full resolution on the iPad. I think that Navionics still does tide/current display the best and I use their product for that.
I have to agree with Rich. There are a variety of products and each has their own "thing". There is no one-app-fits-all for boating and since the apps are so relatively inexpensive, it makes sense to have a few of them. The Navimatics product for the the entire east (Maine to the Keys and up the west coast of Florida) costs $19.99.
