Has anyone found a repeater screen solution compatible with the mac. I guess a 8inch screen would be perfect.
Thanks

If the power budget is generous a small cheap LCD monitor in a plastic bag with a VGA cable connection to laptop in the cabin and a small inverter to power it.

Bob Etter posted a popular article on Panbo some time ago with a similar setup on a Mac mini.

I bought an 8 inch USB monitor. No power or vga cables needed and you can connect multiple monitors. Simple solution but you will have to keep it covered from spray. Mine set me back 150 dollars and works great

I also would like to know how to mount the LCDs so they don't get knocked around. If anyone has pictures it would be well appreciated.

You bet. I have shots. Simple job of male/female velcro from inside my cabin via a porthole now. I'm routing a specific window next to my instrument panel and one by the compass and closing that with clear lexan

I purchased a above model LCD w/o a webcam for $125. I am real excited to get it and hook it up to my macbook.
BoatMonkey: I was thinking of doing the same thing with lexan. Can you please provide some info on how you are building the box? Pics would be nice. If you want please email them to me.
