One of my ipads is having battery problems. Already been through all the battery drain issues and it is still covered by warranty, so having it replaced is not really the problem. What is the problem is I understand Apple simply replaces your ipad. If this is correct, I assume the new one would have a new serial number, thus making my Navionics charts unusable (they're already loaded on my primary and backup ipads). Has anyone faced this? Is it possible to 'deactivate' apps/charts on an ipad and reactivate on another? Any other options?
