There's a bug in the new version of AyeTides XL (1.3) that I'm very embarrassed about. I "fixed" a warning from XCode and that fix leads to the crash when viewing the map. I've posted an emergency update to Apple and they should approve it soon. In the meanwhile, don't download v1.3, it's bad. Wait for v1.3.1.

Argh. I hate things like this. Only condolence is, I'm in good company. Several other apps I've bought have had the same thing happen. Still, it's not good and I'm very sorry about the mess.

Ayetides crashes when I access the tides from iNavX. It used to work but doesn`t anymore. When will the fix come outÉ

As soon as Apple can approve it, which typically takes a few days. I got the fix in right after the first report came in, and now must wait along with you until it's approved. Hurry up Apple!

Apple has approved the update to 1.3.1 and it should be available now, or very shortly. Download this version, it fixes the bug and the app doesn't crash any longer.
