Title: iNavX and xGPS150
#1
Maybe someone can help me :
I have iNavX on my IPod Touch v5.0.1 and
I have a xGPS150 from Dual.
This GPS works in 2 modes: PC or MAC
It says in the pub that it is compatible with INavX. I have been trying to use it with INavX but without result.
In the instruments window, under position, I have CON: I have "Non"INavX tells me to turn on "localisation". I don't want to use localisation with cellphones towers but with my gps. Do I have do change other settings, Bluetooth, etc..
The app. from Dual: Status Tool, works fine. I suppose it has to be "off" when I use iNavX, since it is a Bluetooth thing? Or am I wrong.

Thanks for any help

The XGPS works in two modes: iPhone/iPad/iPod or PC/Mac. You want to choose iPhone mode (switch to the right).

You then want to pair the XGPS with your iPhone/iPad/iPod in "Settings" app.

"Location Services" should be enabled for iNavX as shown here ..

When iNavX is functioning correctly:

In the Instruments banner or view, fields -

"CON" will show "Location Services"
"UTC" will update as "LAT" / "LON" fill in
"HPE" will indicate the amount of horizontal error: 16' is typical.

Thank you for your help Mr expert.
I turned off my IPod Touch, rebooted, then did exactly what you suggested, and it worked.

Merci beaucoup

Sometimes I find the XGPS needs to have a GPS Fix before it will pair up and work with either iPhone/iPad/iPod or Mac/PC.
