Title: Inserting waypoint in the middle of a route from the chart view
#1
Is it possible to insert a waypoint in the middle of an existing route segment via the chart view? When I try this it adds it to the end of the route.

I am accustomed to a route editing workflow where I start with just the origin and destination and then add new waypoints in between them to navigate around land masses and hazards. It gives you a quick idea for planning purposes of the broad strokes of the trip, with the option to fine tune it for actual navigation as a follow-up task.

I do this all the time on my old Garmin 3205 chartplotter where you can select a route segment/leg and insert a new waypoint in the middle of it.

In iNavX you cannot directly from the Chart view. Anyway it is easy to re-order your waypoints in Routes view, by Edit the list and scroll up or down the waypoint with waypoint field's right icon.
