Title: High Spirit - New Nav Setup (MacENC in action)
#1
I've taken some photos of my upgraded nav installation, including the new version of MacENC with improved rendering.

Check it out at http://macsailing.typepad.com/reeferjon/...t_ele.html

I'll also be submitting this to Panbo.

Very nice ! Your new photo replace the older one on my website, and, of course, new link to your blog

And from that link:

Quote:Last, but not least, there is of course, an Apple MacBook running MacENC software with Navionics S57 cartography. The second Lilliput 7" monitor is connected to the MacBook to allow additional information to be displayed, such as tides and some of the MacENC properties windows.

Incidentally, the version of MacENC running in this photo is the latest version, 4.40 which supports S52 IHO symbols, and therefore gives a much better rendering of the chart than previous versions.

Do you really mean MacENC 4.40 or do you mean 5.00?

John
