AyeTides 1.41 is at the App Store now. It's a minor maintenance update that fixes a couple of visual glitches on the text view, when there is a event from the previous day that is supposed to disappear (and does, but leaves traces behind), or an event from the next day that should appear (and does, but the bounding box is wrong).

As always, this is a free update. Just use the App store to download it.

v1.5 is coming, it'll have support for UK-style interpreted subordinate stations, which will give better coverage in the UK. Also, I might change the way you change units; I'm exploring using a double-tap to cycle through the units instead of a button to select the units.

Great stuff you are doing. I used Ayetides on a recent personal epic voyage France to Argentina (very helpful) and my wife is a professional captain (1600T Ocean) who has me for her 'Head of the family IT dept". I set her up with iPhone 3G and iNavX and Ayetides and she is head over heels about it. I have made several recent converts of local boat captains who now use iNavX and AyeTides.

Thanks for the post, I really appreciate it. It's nice hearing from someone who likes AyeTides, and uses it in real life.
