Title: USB X Bluetooth (globalsat GPS receiver)
#1
Hi,
I'm new here and wondering if anyone have suggestions on which GPS receiver would be best USB or bluetooth?
I'm willing to take my MacbookPro with GPSNavX onboard but will need the GPS receiver and not sure whether should go for the simple USB or bluetooth?
Any ideias?
Cheers

I recommend BU-353 USB because it is powered by your Mac, will work below decks, is very accurate. We sell them on our site or visit the USGlobalSat site for other dealers.

To use a USB/Bluetooth GPS, your Mac probably must be powered on. If you are just out for the day, this approach works well.

For anything longer, a fixed GPS, or even a handheld, is a wiser choice, IMO.
