Following a few seasons with GPSnavX, I am ready to upgrade to MacENC.
I have a MacBook Air. I have a Navionics Gold cartridge. Can I use this or do I need to download Navionics charts?

Have you had hands on one yet? Or at least run and emulator yet? Sounds like iNavX will run as is. Any plans to write an iPad specific version? I'm excited by the news. Hope to be running one this summer.

So what are the chances we can look forward to an iPad in a waterproof case (with an external power supply) for the cockpit talking to a Mac Mini down below via WiFi (bluetooth) running MacEnc?

We are getting a new boat which we intend to race. I have used GPSnavX extensively for cruising but I have been looking at the racing software available. The well-know software (Deckman, Expedition) are PC-based.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
