After upgrading to Yosemite my GPSNavX 6.04 would no longer run on my MacBook Pro. I was forced to repurchase GPSNavX since the older version could only be updated via the App Store.

Now I'm finding 6.07 has a few problems.

1) When changing the position of waypoints along a route the movement of the cursor is very slow, jerky and hard to control.

2) Attempts to transfer routes to my Garmin 76 and Garmin GPS152 result in the program crashing every time. The program starts the transfer, recognizes the devices, then as the keyspan indicates data is being transferred the program crashes.

3) While underway with my AIS GPS used as input for position and AIS via a Keyspan serial adapter, the computer randomly crashes (kernel panic) and has to be restarted.

I finally figured out a work around for my routes. I found I could transfer my routes via GPX format to the desktop, then upload the routes to OpenCPN. Transfer them in Garmin format to both my Garmin 76 and 152 without a problem with OpenCPN.

Am I the only one experiencing this problem? Looks like I'll be using OpenCPN until these bugs are fixed.

Hi, I just upgraded to Yosemite Beta. My version of MacENC is 8.4 and won't load. The Demo at 8.75 does. How do I upgrade my copy of MacENC? Looked on the site, but there's no download option.

Anyone have any experience with CradlePoint routers?

I'd like to set up a Wifi as WAN (WAW) network onboard, so I can maintain my own personal WIFI network regardless of location for onboard navigation across multiple devices - Mac Mini, iPad, iPhone, etc. - and be able to connect the whole thing to the internet via WAW through cellular service or other wifi network when available.

Would love to use all the Apple gear I currently have (Time Capsules, Airport Express, etc.) but don't see how those can be configured to work for WAW as that capability to bridge seems to require special gear.

Just wondering if there's any way to lock waypoints in MacENC, something like the the "lock" slider you see in iNavX when looking at a waypoint's info. I know you have to go through a couple of deliberate steps to change a waypoint in MacENC (and also reply "Yes" when prompted to save waypoints on quitting), but I wondering if there's any way to just make them uneditable. The GPX markup language doesn't have any kind of tag or something to define a waypoint/route/track as "locked," does it?
