The File menu includes Open recent... - useful. But it seems to include only those sites that have been saved.

I would find it better if Mr Tides remembered the last few sites opened, without the need to save the site somewhere. This would be a small but useful refinement.

Finding Mr Tides really useful. I note when making the shareware payment, I cannot paste my password into the PayPal password field. As my password is long and complex (for security) it was a bit of a pain to have to type it character at a time.

I've been trying to use iNavX on my iPad as a chart plotter at the helm via an ad-hoc network with my MacBook Pro running Lion and MacEnc down at the Nav Station in the cabin. I've followed all of the procedures under your "Using InavX with MacEnc" (many times).

In MacEnc, I have the TCP/IP NMEA Data setup & showing the green client status indicator.

In iNavX Preferences, it is setup with the correct host from MacEnc and the NMEA Data is scrolling in the lower window.

My problem is when I select a route on MacEnc, the route dosen't appear on the inavX screen at the helm.

On the MacEnc TCP/IP screen, it is checked "Enable" with GPS, Instruments, AIS/RADAR boxes checked.

The Host # is 169.254.55.245 whereas the host in your example shows 10.0.1.2 Should I change the host to this latter #?

I've spent days & hours trying to get a route to transfer to the iPad. What am I doing wrong?

It seems that one time, I re-started from scratch and the route that was presently showing in MacEnc actually did show up on the iPad, but I can't seem to duplicate this with other routes.

Any help with this - Most Appreciated !!! As this is driving me to DRINK!!!

I have set SYT(System Time) ON. But I can't find it on the screen, like some other GPS device. On other hand, I can see the UTC(Universal Time Code) when I set it ON. But it stay at the time of display. How can I get the dynamic time on screen. I need it when I take the snapshot of the screen showing the time I reach a way point.

I use ipad2 with InavX and receive AIS wirelessly to the ipad via Digiyacht ZDIGIAS.

If I try to connect to the TCP/IP client from my iPhone it rejects the request until I disconnect from the ipad which is somewhat unhelpful. In addition connection ti the TCP/IP client over rides the 3G signal and effectively blocks Internet use.

1. How do I enable the TCP/IP client to connect to ipad and iPhone at same time?
Help please
2. How can I still access Internet and 3G navigation when connected to the TCP/IP client?

Is it possible to insert a waypoint in the middle of an existing route segment via the chart view? When I try this it adds it to the end of the route.

I am accustomed to a route editing workflow where I start with just the origin and destination and then add new waypoints in between them to navigate around land masses and hazards. It gives you a quick idea for planning purposes of the broad strokes of the trip, with the option to fine tune it for actual navigation as a follow-up task.

I do this all the time on my old Garmin 3205 chartplotter where you can select a route segment/leg and insert a new waypoint in the middle of it.

A request... please can we have a short-cut to get back to 'today'? I explore ahead but then want to get back to now.

iCal etc. has a 'today' button, and I would find an equivalent in Mr Tides useful.
