Title: MacENC and El Capitan
#1
Any one know if MacENC works OK under El Capitan? I don't want to upgrade and find MacENC does not work - including my USB interface to NMEA2000.

Concerned as support seems to have disappeared.

Hi Tony,

MacENC version 8.75 seems to work well under OS X 10.11.1 as far as I can tell. I have not tested the Antisense USB/NMEA 2000 however.

NavX Studios LLC has taken over Rich Ray's fine work.

Sorry for not seeing this post sooner but we've done pretty extensive testing and so far everything in the latest version of MacENC (v8.75) seems to work fine with El Capitan. No reports of issues from any users either. If you do run into an issue please reach out via Help in the app or through our website.

Not sure of reason but finding it hangs under El Capitan. Will continue to test but cannot get app to come up cleaning after upgrade. Stack trace submitted to Apple for Force Quit.

Further attempts have been successful so not sure what was the issue. MacEnc appears to work under El Capitan though the issue with transferring route info to Garmin device still exists. Program dies suddenly during transfer.

MacENC seems to be fine for me under El Capitan, including the Antisense NMEA2000 interface.
