Can you share any more info on "If Global Marine Networks XGate or Iridium AxcessPoint app is installed, then "XGate" in "GRIB Parameters" will allow the XGate or AxcessPoint app to be used for requesting and receiving the GRIB forecast."?

I have ordered an Iridium Axcess point wi-fi box from GMN.
I looked through the iTunes store and couldn't find the "app". I also looked through GMN web page and couldn't find anything. Can you share any more info? I pulled one of their GRIB files, a BZ2 extension.... decompressed it, and couldn't find a way for iNavX to get the file. the file type didn't seem to be recognized.

Just trying to gear up my iPad for the Caribbean 1500.

You will need to contact GMN to the availability of the XGate app. iNavX is ready to use it to request GRIB weather forecasts as soon as it's installed.


There are a few ways to get a GRIB weather forecast file (.grb) into iNavX..
