Title: Connecting Seatalk Instruments
#1
I have been working on integrating the ST instruments with GPSnavX/MACENC. So far no luck, I connected to the ST out on the course computer into the multiplexor NMEA/ST input. I could only read the Heading info. Should I use the NMEA out from the course computer? Any ideas? BTW I am using the Shipmodul BT41 Multiplexor

Have you configured the mux for SeaTalk input on input #4?

You can do these easily in Virtual PC using the ShipModul config
utility. Or you can do it "manually" with a serial port terminal app
such as MacWise.
