Raymarine AIS 350 Receiver |

This receiver has a UBS port to connect to my Mac to hopefully use with GPSNavX. It came with a CD that supposedly has a Mac driver for this called ProAIS2. But it comes with no instructions on how to use it. I can't seem to get it to work with GPSNavx or MacEnc. It works fine with my MFD. Does anyone know of a different driver or how to use the ProAIS2 driver?
Thanks - Jack

My preparation will be documented here as well as on my website: www.svbluemoon.com
and the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/sailingvesselbluemoon/
I will list the boat details, equipment list, preparation videos and navigation information. I am sailing exclusively with my Macbook Air, iPhone, iPad, and an Anroid tablet in addition to my Raymarine e125 MFD.
Keep a watch here as I add more information!

Hi All,
Lets face it. I've been a bad owner. I have great plans for this site and its growth but in the time I have been responsible for this site it has continued to become a haven for spam. I'll spare you the details that have delayed my plans, but be sure that I am committed to correcting and growing this forum. I have a short list of forum platforms to convert this forum to as the original platform has been end of life for several years. I have engaged with a conversion service to eliminate the spam and convert the forum to the new format.
I will keep you posted on the progress.
I do login and delete spam as often as I can. However, I barely make a dent in it as it shows up faster than I can delete it.
I'm looking forward to deploying the new re-design and making this forum great!
Fair winds,
Salty Russ
P.S. I am sailing in the Pacific Cup race from San Francisco to Hawaii departing this Monday, July 9th, 2018. I have information on my prep and a vessel tracker on my website: www.svbluemoon.com
Please check it out. Also on my FB site @svbluemoon
I'll be posting ocean voyage prep information to this forum as well.

Essay Writing Structure |

The essay is the type of writing that most students have to present in the colleges and universities. The personal point of view is the key to a good essay. Although it is important that in your essays you expose information on various topics, you should try to do so by always presenting your personal opinion on those topics. In general, your essay should consist of three major parts: introduction , body and conclusion .
In the introduction, worry about presenting the thesis that you are going to defend. In the body, it presents the reasons that demonstrate the thesis. In the conclusion, he reiterates the thesis and explores some of its possible general repercussions: what aspects of society are affected by the ideas you have shown in the essay?
Your main purpose when you write a good custom essay is to convince the reader that the ideas you defend there are true. This can only be achieved if the reasons you use to prove your thesis are logical and convincing.

Racing Programs/Systems? |

Hi everyone,
I have been interested in racing for most of my life but admit that I'm not much good at it. I have theories and systems that I think would work but always seem to let my emotions get in the way. I am considering buying a subscription to a software program that would make it easier to stick to a system and gather the info.
Dont get me wrong I'm not an idiot I understand that there is nothing out there that is fool proof and just prints money for you but I'm looking for a tool to help.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks.

Sun block and head protection |

I am suffering after the weekend from too much sun - in England who would have thought it? Anyone have any recommendations for sunblock that works and won't make me cry when it gets in my eyes the first time I duck dive? Ideally as natural as possible, no animal testing etc. And anybody got any sun protecting head gear ideas that work in the water as what is left of my hair is not enough to protect my head. Needs to stay on my head, ideally brim all the way round to keep the tops of my ears protected too. Done the google search thing, it looks like sailing hats are cheaper than surf hats which is surprising but am I missing anything cheaper or better. What does anyone use that actually works?
Thanks.

Epson DFX-9000 Printing Large Text |

I have successfully installed Epson DFX-9000 Printer on Win7 machine, printing directly from our SAP system. Recently, after a PC user profile change, the printer starts printing large text. Large text printout is about 300% larger than the expected font size. I have tried reinstalling drivers but still not resolved. I have also tried installing it on Win10 but same thing happened. I have tried installing other printer (Epson LQ-2190) and it was printing perfectly fine. Am I missing something here?
