Enhancements include:

"Routes" in the "Waypoints" view allows the creation, editing and navigation of routes.
"Wave Height" in "Request GRIB" on "Forecast" view will request a GRIB file with Wave Height and Direction.
Selecting the Chart Tab when the chart is already displayed will scroll the chart back to the position (if position exists on chart).
Digital Compass (if present on device) will be used for position icon orientation, Compass banner and "HDG" in Instruments view.
"Anchor Alarm" on main menu will set trigger if position changes more then selected distance.
"Email Position" will send a KML file of the track log.

Hello,

I just got back from a 1300 mile race and used a combination of a bluetooth nmea repeater and Trimble Yuma running Maxsea onboard that worked incredibly well. Is there a possibility of adding bluetooth "serial" capability so that we can use instrument / AIS data without having to have a PC onboard repeating all of the data to the phone??

Having a PC or MAC seems like a lot of extra money and trouble to make this work properly??

While PolarView was initially designed as a vector chart product, we've been getting many requests for raster chart support. So, here it is - a new version of PolarView is out.

Version 0.7 adds:
- BSB raster chart support including quilting
- ability to control chart cell display individually (which comes in handy when you have a few thousand charts loaded )

Hi, I just buy a new enc (from SHOM) chart and trying to use it, I have a message "uncomplete import" when importing the permit.txt ! And of course no way to access to the cell. Any idea ?

I am extremely new to charts and marine electronics. I have searched this site and the internet and contacted Navionics and have yet to find an answer. I'm hoping someone here can lead me in the right direction.

Last week I purchased my first chartplotter (lowrance HDS) and a Navionics Hotmaps Premium card to go with it. I own nothing but Mac computers and was wondering how to print the maps off the card I bought. I read the warning and am not putting the card in a card reader. I don't want to make a back-up, just want to print a few maps so I can pre-plan my fishing trips!!!

how do I do it?

At the Appstore is a great application called JourSail.

It's a logbook for boaters where you can write or click important infos for each trip: coordinates, weather, wind etc.

the complete logbook can be sent via email with nice graphics.
