How do I get hold of a "connector" that will allow me to attach my Garmin GPS antenna to my G4 Mac Powerbook so I can use my new MacENC program? The cord from the antenna, at the stern of my sailboat, has a bayonet BNC connector. I need to get an device that accepts the BNC at one end and has a BUS port on the other end. I mean, really, why do I need to get a new antenna?

Some have inquired whether they can use an off the shelf Bluetooth GPS with iNavX and an iPod Touch. Unfortunately the answer is no. Apple's policy on this is:
"If Your Application interfaces, communicates, or otherwise interoperates with or
controls an iPhone Accessory (as defined above) through Bluetooth or AppleÂ’s 30-pin dock
connector, then the accessory must be licensed under Apple's MFi Program."

So as soon as Apple approved Bluetooth GPS or GPS receivers that can connect to the 30 pin dock connector are available, iNavX will support them.

Would anyone happen to have a GRIB data file that includes wave height/direction or other such information?
It would appear that popular mail-request GRIB services provide only wind and pressure data.

iNavX 2.0.3 is compatible with iPhone OS 3 and/or iPhone 3G[S]. iNavX 2.0.4 will be submitted to Apple this week. It adds support for the iPhone 3G[S] compass. Compass (if present on device) will be used for position icon orientation, Compass banner and "HDG" in Instruments view. Otherwise COG (course over ground) is used. The new 3G[S] is also faster so iNavX will be aware of that for more frequent position updates.
