Does anyone have experience with the Brookhouse mux? It appears to solve the problems I posed in my post titled "Switching between NMEA talkers". Specifically, does the Brookhouse unit function without the computer in place, and, do they interface well with the Macs when it comes time to program them? Thanks for any help.

I am wondering if it is possible to change the standard sailing angle when using SailTimer? I believe that it is now set to 45degrees. On my boat it goes from 43 with 6kn wind down to 38,5 at 16kn wind.
It is possible to fill in your customized polar diagram. Maybe an additional field would be possible to ad this:-)
Kind regards,
Igor

Hi all!
In Sweden, all the AIS data is available via the Swedish Maritime Administration, but those guys are greedy as h*ll and charges a good deal of money to enjoy that service.
I live in the Stockholm Archipelago and have a 30m, mask free antenna site on my chimney. Naturally I set up a two-channel AIS receiver and opened up a few ports on my server...
You can tap into frejvall.com (82.182.176.8) on port TCP/9100 and get the NMEA stream.
All the best,
Per

| Magsafe 12-volt adapter |

Just wondering if there has been any advancement on this. I see Apple is still only offering the airline adapter which won't work on the boat. Has any third party filled in the gap by providing one of these? It seems that running my MacBook on the inverter uses a couple of amps/hour more than my old Powerbook did plugged directly into a 12-volt receptacle via a Lind adapter. I think you lose something every time you step the power up or down.

To get my app on my new laptop I texted gpsnavx, and he told me but like a retard I am I did not write down what file he said to move to the new machine so it does not ask for an activation password.
Any help..
