I have an Intel iMac running MacENC attached to a Xenarc touchscreen. The screen is only 10" so real estate is tight. I'd like to see different windows be assigned to tabs. This would allow the map screen in one tab, the nav in another etc. Anyone else?

Please excuse me if this topic has been discussed before. Is there an easy way to "grab" and move a waypoint after I have set up a route?
This happens when I see a better way to navigate through some passage and want to move the waypoints slightly.

I use MacEnc on a power book G4, only for racing, (at the moment). I use it on two boats and while the Sailtimer is very useful for the smaller boat and shorter distance races, it is very limited on the larger boat over longer distance races.
So, does anyone know of any routing software compatible with MacEnc that can be run on a Mac only machine?

Hi
I was at the Boot 2008 fair in Düsseldorf Germany last weekend.
At the ship supplier I saw the Raymarine "Ready to Go" package with C70 Chartplotter, AIS (including Multiplexer), GPS antenna and DSC radio.
Here are some infos (though in German) and pictures,

I do have some questions,
is this package (GPS; AIS data) compatible with GPSNavX/MacENC ?
Is the price too high? 2699 Euro
How good are Raymarine systems? I only know them from chartered boats.

I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of a portable battery
operated UAIS reciever. I am specifically searching for one that will interface with my USB port and is small enough to carry in a small backpack.

The upgrade of the ISP and BBS server software for Macsailing.net is almost complete. Although there will still be some modifications being made to the configuration of the BBS, there should be no further server downtime.
